Why I’m telling you to read this thread? Because it really worth the effort! Like I said in my own comment in the thread, this thread gives more and better information than 90% of the products and WSOs I bought in the last 2 years. Period. And I mean it.

So, go there, read it, if you don’t have the time or the patience to read all the comments, read at least the “original writings” by the author, I mean, what he writes when is not replying to comments.

It’s been some time since I made a post in this blog. There are several reasons for that, but the main reason is that I’m taking almost all my free time to make money online. And am I succeeding at making money? Well, not completely.

If you believe that you can make money online in a short period of time, just by tossing a couple of websites selling affiliate products and doing a little bit of SEO, then I failed miserably. On the other hand, if you have the idea that it takes time, that there are a lot of things to learn, to test, a lot of failures before you start making a decent income, then I’m on the path.

After the SEO success achieved during the Xmas period, when I was able, with a partner, to get a site raking #1 in Google for a keyword with more then 100.000.000 competitors, I supposed that what I needed was just to create some more sites, using the same techniques, and that the money would roll in like water. The fact is that is not the case.

Yes, I was able to rank some more sites to page 1 of Google, some of them sitting in #2 or #3, but the money is just a small trickle. Till now, for the last two months, I was able to generate like $150. One may consider that, for only two months of work, serious work, in affiliate marketing, is not too bad, considering the enormous number of people that can’t make a dime.

That can be true, but when you look past and see the endless number of hours you spent on this, for the last two months, you get a very frustrating feeling. If I have a job receiving something like $5/hour, this effort would represent more then $1.000, not just $150. [...]

When I first started writing about the 5 Gold Rules to build an Online Business, back in June 2010, I never imagined that the last post of the main series would be published only 7 months after! Especially because the post regarding the 4th rule, Identify the Resources, was publish in August.

For the last 5 months, excluding a brief period for rest with family, I’ve been searching my way in the IM arena. This means I’ve been trying a lot of things, tactics, products, tools and usually with the same result: zero dollars.

I realized I needed focus and follow my own rules, otherwise all the effort and investment would be just time and money sent through the sink. That’s when I joined a mastermind group that formed spontaneously in MWA 3.0 Forum and that gave me a sense of purpose and some kind of direction.

From that small mastermind group I made a JV with a fellow student and since mid-September we’ve been working together and building the foundations for what I believe will be a prosperous venture in the near future.

Hello guys and gals!

More than 4 months have flushed away since my last post here. Boy, but time fly! Nevertheless, I must tell you that I’ve not been lazy or that I’ve abandoned Internet Marketing. This is a passion and soon, I hope, my main activity.

What do I want to tell you? A lot! I have so many things to tell you that I’ll need several blog posts to put it all clear. Some are awesome achievements, some are huge failures. But all contribute to my learning and I’ve learned a lot.

We’re near the end of 2010, so a balance must be done, new goals must be set and expectations must be high. I don’t know why but it helps having this kind of mindset when the old year dies and the new one is just around the corner.

During the first couple of weeks of 2011 I’ll post here some of my experiences, I’ll show you how (with a very good friend) I dominate Google for a keyword with more then 66 Million results and that originated almost $25!!!!! yeah, it’s true. Remember, awesome achievements and huge failures. But I can tell you it has been a heck of a ride!

With so many strategies, techniques, and media available to you and so many people claiming that you must do this or that, that you must follow this “secret” or apply this latest technology, it can become very difficult to follow the right direction to make your business grow. If you plan to start your own business online you must find a market, preferably with hungry buyers, and offer what that market wants to buy. One of the biggest mistakes new entrepreneurs do is to offer what they would like that people buy instead of what people want to buy.
